Here is what we will be working on this year:
Sept./Oct. - Oral counting 0-50, Number lines, +0 & +1 strategies, data collection, graphing, word problems and measurement
Nov./Dec. - Oral counting 0- 100 by 1's & 10's, empty number lines, +10 & =10 strategies, teen numbers, tens & ones place value, composition & decomposition of 2 & 3-digit numbers, and balanced equations
Jan./Feb. - Oral counting (forward & backward) 0-120 by 1's 2's, 5's & 10's, +9, doubles, & near doubles strategies, even & odd, and fractions
Mar./Apr. - 2 apart addition strategy, near 10 addition strategy, additive reasoning, 2-digit addition without regrouping, coins
May/June- Addition strategy review, standard algorithm, geometry
